Leeds City Council Recycling Centres During Covid19

If you are in need of visiting one of the many Leeds City Council recycling centres during the current Covid19 restrictions we have put together everything that you may need to know.

Booking a slot

Leeds City Council have opened up all of its recycling centres that stretch across the council borders, in order to use them you will have to book a time slot in advance. The council will check your car registration with you so if you haven’t booked you will unfortunately be turned away, this is to avoid busy periods and too many people in close proximity.

The council have advised only to bring waste to the recycling sites if they cannot be stored safely at home or disposed in another safe way.

Commercial Waste

This will only be accepted at the Kirkstall centre and you won’t need to make a booking.

Leeds Recycling Centres

Leeds City Council has in total 8 sites which include Kirkstall, Meanwood, Middleton, Otley, Pudsey, Seacroft, Wetherby and finally Yeadon.

You will find that most free booking appointments will be at the Kirkstall centre.
